Points formula
Nor'easter Series points will be awarded based on the following formula:
Number of points awarded =
Points weighting: points will be weighted based on race distance with the following multipliers:

All Friday night races: 1x points

Jan. 11 and Feb. 1 races: 2x points
-
Merck Ultra: 2x points for the 25K; 2.5x points for the 50K
At the daytime races on 1/11 & 2/1, only the longer distance option is worth series points: 10K on 1/11 & half marathon on 2/1. Both distances are points-eligible at the Merck Ultra.
