ABOUT US
Nor'east Trail Runs is a bunch of running geeks who spend all day thinking about running, talking about running, or, you know, actually running.
Our mission is simple: get more people out there! Since our founding in 2017, we have hosted races from 1 mile to multiday ultras, from the backcountry to the track. We direct events of all distances, on all surfaces, all year round. Whatever your thing is, come put some 'hell yeah!' in your miles with us!
Through partnerships with local charities, businesses, and land management and community organizations, as well as encouraging runners to participate on their own, our aim is to give back to the community that is so central to our core values and the outdoors!

THE TEAM

Adam
Co-founder & Race Director
Adam grew up in Dorset, Vermont running the trails and roads of the Taconic Mountains from his front door. He founded Nor'east in 2017 to serve the greater running community and fuel his passion for the trails. When he's not working on recipes for the races, you can find him climbing or skiing whenever he can sneak in some turns. He met his wife Eliza in 2013. The pair clicked immediately after Eliza mentioned "this hundred miler that ends in Auburn," and the rest is history!

Eliza
Co-founder & Race Director
A California native, Eliza was hooked on ultras before she ran her first 5K. Despite growing up with buffed out trails extending in every direction, she immediately fell in love with Vermont's steep, rocky terrain. She loves exploring the mountains and running long ultras. When she's not running, she's probably geeking out on CalTopo planning a new route. Eliza's new goal: training her ragdoll cats to go mountaineering. #Norbeasts
